Sailor Mars 1/6 Part #6 Final

Today,
I finally received my sakura pen set. (Amazon)

This hands down has to be the one of the best items I've ever bought for this hobby! 

From pin lining on Mars shoes to getting better detail on her eyes. This was really worth the money. And it was cheaper on amazon and bigger set than what was available offline.

Sailor Mars 1/6 Part #5 Base/Finishing

From there I usually eyeball the size from the paper.

I baked sculpey it then added flames with Golden Regular Gel.

Starts of white goo color then dries clear and followed this guide to paint flames. It didn't sound hard but painting flames is hard to do.

I ended up painting it like the guide

then layering more Gel on it.

 Since the gel dries clear I paint the tips red which makes is look "real-er" than my previous Ideas.

Sailor Mars 1/6 Part #4 Touching up BooBoos

I ended up going with
 Model Color
#036 2 Drop
#020 1 Drop
#001 1 Drop

Thats the base Skintone and ended up well!
Not too yellow or peachy color.

So, I'm about done with the kit just touch up and stray parts.
Or so I thought....

Sailor Mars 1/6 Part #3 Primer/Paint

All the Mr. Surfacer has been put on and the apoxie putty has been dried for 24 hours.

Time to prime!
The Hair will be grey since her hair plays on dark purples and black.

While the skin is white then  lastly the skirt is a mix of the 2 primer.

Sailor Mars 1/6 Part #2

Today,
Its a Sunny warm day and I'm off for it!
So thanks to the great weather I can use Mr. Surfacer and array of liquid puttys w/o worry.
It's not something you'd want to open up in a inclosed room is what I'm saying.... xD

Last post I left off at gaps and many of them at that!
